Dr. Frederick Nafash is a graduate of Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree, his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics, his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontology, and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Nafash had the desire to achieve an in-depth study treating and restoring teeth and periodontal tissues; he pursued his goal by obtaining post-doctoral training in periodontology and prosthodontics. In 2011, Dr. Nafash was assigned Assistant Clinical Professor in Post-Doctoral AEGD and Pre-Doctoral Periodontology at Boston University.
In 2014, Dr. Nafash became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a designation appointed to those who make significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. Dr. Nafash is Board Eligible in Prosthodontics, and moving forward to achieving his Diplomate.
Dr. Nafash specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, as well as implant dentistry. Dr. Nafash has had additional training in full mouth rehabilitations, fixed bridges, all-ceramic crowns and veneers, onlays and inlays, complete dentures, and removable partial dentures. Dr. Nafash is trained and experienced in novel implant treatments from single tooth replacement to restoring edentulous arches. His skills also include as well as bruxism appliances for clenching and grinding.
Dr. Nafash is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Periodontology. Presented multiple topics related to his specialties at many prestigious dental conferences all over the States.
